Microcement in Oman

A thin, seamless finish applied over your existing floor, so a space is transformed without demolition.

Seamless Design

Microcement is a cement-based coating applied by hand in thin layers, then sealed. At only 2–3 mm it bonds to tiles, screeds and concrete, so an old floor can be refinished without breaking it out. The same material runs up walls, stairs and into bathrooms for one continuous surface.

Badr Flooring installs microcement for villas, apartments, cafés, retail and offices across Oman. Each floor is hand-finished, so the surface has a soft, natural variation that designers specify for contemporary interiors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q

Can microcement go over existing tiles?

Yes. The tiles are cleaned, primed and levelled, then the microcement is applied in layers and sealed. The floor level rises by only a few millimetres.

Q

Is it suitable for bathrooms and showers?

Yes. With the correct sealer it is used on bathroom floors, walls and shower areas.

Q

How is it maintained?

Regular cleaning with a neutral cleaner and a soft mop. The sealer can be refreshed after years of use.

Q

How long does installation take?

A typical room takes four to six days including curing between layers. Larger areas are programmed in zones.
